MINISTRY PRINCIPLES

OF MCI

WE BELIEVE IN :

1.DISCIPLESHIP ! All ministers place the highest priority on raising disciples as spoken of by Christ.

Then Jesus came to them and said,
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

(Matthew 28:18-20)

2. SPIRITUAL WARFARE ! Knowing that all ministers have entered into the spiritual battle, they must rely solely on the authority and power of Christ, beyond our own power.

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,

against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."

(Ephesians 6:12)

"The God of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers,

so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."

(2 Cor 4:4)

3. CELL CHURCH! All ministers aim to continually plant cell churches on a family unit basis. We value family unit ministry and respond to God's glorious invitation through holistic Koinonia in Christ. Also, every cell church believes in the pioneering ministry of Christ through the presence of the Holy Spirit, not the power of man.

"That all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.

May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are on"

(John 17:21-22)

"How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!"

(Psalms 133:1)

"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven

and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them."

(Acts 2:1-3)

4. FRONTIER PIONEERING! All ministers place priority on the salvation of unbelievers, and creatively and continuously break through groups and areas where the Gospel has not been reached. In particular, we focus on groups that have traditionally been left out of the gospel in the Middle East. In addition, we respect the authority of other evangelical churches, and we forbid the joining of the saints who already belong to an existing church, unless they want to leave their church upon falling into apostasy, such as heresy or religion unification, and come into the community of Christ. The priority demographic for pioneering is a city and ethnic group without other formally affiliated churches.

"As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—

the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,

for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?

And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?

And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

And how can they preach unless they are sent?

As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

(Romans 10:11-15)

"By the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit.

So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.

It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known,

so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation.

Rather, as it is written: "Those who were not told about him will see,

and those who have not heard will understand."

(Romans 15:19-21)

5.HOLINESS! Holiness and sanctification are compulsory for all ministers, and we firmly deal with things that promote sexual and financial corruption and division.

"The acts of the sinful nature are obvious:

sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy,

fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factionsand envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.

I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."

(Galatians 5:19-21)

"Now the overseer must be above reproach, ..

and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons"

(1 Tim 3:1-13)

6. SPIRITUAL GIFTS! All ministers work according to their spiritual gifts. We focus on building a community by refraining from assigning roles by age and background, rejecting secular authoritarianism accordingly, and playing a role that is thoroughly gifted.

"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets,

some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers,

to prepare God's people for works of service,

so that the body of Christ may be built up"

(Ephesians 4:11-12)

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy,

to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—

this is your spiritual act of worship.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world,

but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—

his good, pleasing and perfect will.

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you:

Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought,

but rather think of yourself with sober judgment,

in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.

Just as each of us has one body with many members,

and these members do not all have the same function,

so in Christ we who are many form one body,

and each member belongs to all the others.

We have different gifts, according to the grace given us.

If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.

If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach;

if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others,

let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently;

if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully."

(Romans 12:1-8)

7.BIBLE! All ministers will start with the Word, minister according to the Word, and give their lives to fight any rebellion against the Bible and all kinds of humanism.

"Wherever you live, the towns will be laid waste and the high places demolished,

so that your altars will be laid waste and devastated, your idols smashed and ruined,

your incense altars broken down, and what you have made wiped out."

(Ezekiel 6:6)

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking,

correcting and training in righteousness"

(2 Tim 3:16)

"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book:

If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.

And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book."

(Revelations 22:18-19)
